Our certified technicians will inspect around your business to seek out the source of the pest activity, to identify the areas we may need to treat and to offer pro-active steps you can take to minimize the existing and future pest activity at your business. MOSQUITO CONTROL SERVICES
Mosquito controlMichigan is home to about 60 different types of mosquitoes, which fall into five major classifications: Summer flood-water mosquitoes (the most common type here in Michigan), spring flood-water mosquitoes, marsh mosquitoes, hardwood mosquitoes and container mosquitoes.

THE MOSQUITO CONTROL SERVICES WE OFFER

  • COMPLETE MISTING A complete misting around your house and lot using a commercial-grade motorized backpack sprayer. The products we use will bind to the surfaces they’re applied to, offering long-term residual protection and delivering a fast knock-down of any mosquitoes in the area. We will target foliage, trees and other key areas around your property where mosquitoes and larva are typically found.
  • LARVICIDE APPLICATION Small briquettes are placed in standing water where mosquitoes breed. The briquettes slowly release the larvicide on the surface of the water and will kill mosquito larva before they mature into biting adults. The briquettes are effective for a period of 30 days or longer. They are non-toxic to all other wildlife, pets, fish and humans.
  • INSECT GROWTH REGULATOR APPLICATION When used in conjunction with misting services, these products prevent mosquitoes from maturing into reproductive adults, thus disrupting the development of further generations of mosquitoes. The insect growth regulators we use will continue to be effective for a period of 90 days or longer.

IT ONLY TAKES A SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER
Mosquitoes can lay their eggs in a very small amount of water. In fact, mosquitoes need only a thimble-sized amount of standing water to breed. Minimizing mosquito activity starts with eliminating the sources of standing water on your property. Leaky faucets, drain pipes, flower pots, bird baths and other objects on your property can cause water to collect and can provide breeding sites for mosquitoes. Our technicians will assess your property and will create a customized service plan to treat for the mosquitoes invading your home and property.
