Areas Where Ants are Commonly Found
Centipedes are typically found in dark and damp areas.
There are several different species of ant in Michigan. Carpenter ants typically nest in mature trees around your property and often, when looking to establish satellite nests, will use the wood frames in and around your property as additional sites. Winged ants are often a sign that there is a mature carpenter ant colony around you home. Pavement and and similar species will nest under stones, around cracks in pavement and in or near the structure of your home or business.
Most ants are omnivorous, meaning that they eat both plants and other bugs. Some items of an ants diet include leaves, small insects and nectar. Because of their diet, ants can be baited, which allows us to gain control of these pests.
REGAL PEST CONTROL OFFERS TREATMENTS THAT PROVIDE LONG-TERM PROTECTION AGAINST ANTS
For most ant issues, we can use gel baits to control ant activity. These types of baits are preferred, as they allow foraging ants to feed on the bait and to then takes the insecticide gel to the rest of the colony. For locations that aren’t currently infested with ants, we can use liquid deterrents and perimeter treatments to control pests. These products have several benefits when controlling ants and other insect pests. The micro-capsules extend the life of the product, which provides long-term protection against ants. The micro-capsules stick to the surface they’re applied to, delivering a fast knock-down of the pest and provide more stability with the placement of the product. Baits are also used when and where appropriate to provide control for carpenter ants and other ant species.

The amount of time depends on whether you have an attic, a crawlspace (if it’s dirt or paved) and other factors. Typically, inspections for homes under 2,500 sq ft take a about one hour. Add about a 20 minutes or so for each additional 1,000 sq ft.
If we do find activity, the inspection time will likely increase.
We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.
No. Believe it or not, we’ve gotten this question more than a few times over the years. Our vehicles DO have our name and contact information on them and they MAY have some of the services we provide but they DO NOT have any giant bugs or critters on top of them.
